* The Association is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as defined under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Association is formed to promote, encourage and conduct educational programs and seminars and to prepare and distribute educational materials
pertaining to the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Act and its administration by the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission; provided,
however that no part of the net earnings thereof shall inure to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual; provided, further, that no substantial part of the
activities of the Association shall consist of carrying on propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, and the Association shall not participate in
or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements) any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office.
