From the President

Welcome to the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Educational Association's (SCWCEA) website. I would like to begin by saying that it is an honor to serve as your President. I am grateful to all of the individuals in this organization to continue to work, devote their time, and lend to the vision that makes the SCWCEA the strong, successful association it is today. The Board and staff hope your plans for 2018 include participation in our many educational programs. The Annual Medical Seminar will be held February 25 - 27 at the beautiful Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston. This seminar will focus on What's Trending in Healthcare and registration is open. Make certain you register before February 2nd to save on fees. Our 2017 One Day Seminar Committee is in the process of planning this meeting for the Spring. The date, venue and details will be available before April so check the website for updates. We will top off our year with the very popular Annual Educational Conference, October 14 - 17 at the Marriott Resort on Hilton Head Island. The program will be finalized by this summer and we promise the content will be both educational and beneficial to all who attended. Memberships for 2018 are open. Please keep in mind that all current SCWCEA members must renew no later than March 31 in order to take advantage of the discounted member registration fees, and any new members must be enrolled no later than July 1 for the same purpose. Our popular Partners program will close January 26, 2018 so that we can implement the many benefits starting with the Medical Seminar.
